Likam Ole-Kiambu

Likam Ole-Kiambu is the chairperson of the Dupoto/Darfur settlement welfare scheme in Kenya, currently in the spotlight for his testimony regarding the controversial acquisition of land by Kenya Railways for the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR). He has raised concerns about the irregularities in the land acquisition process, claiming that members of the welfare scheme were not compensated for land that the Railways took possession of and that many have faced forceful eviction without proper legal procedures being followed.
