Lilach Par

Lilach Par is a passionate runner and the founder of the initiative 'k500Run', which collects and donates used sports shoes to those in need. Inspired by a chance encounter with a young boy wearing torn shoes, she launched this project to extend the life of running shoes while promoting sustainability and giving back to the community. Over the past year, her team of volunteers has successfully donated more than 4,500 pairs of shoes, each accompanied by an inspirational message. Par, who manages the initiative in her spare time while working full-time, finds motivation in the joy and gratitude of those receiving the shoes, embodying a spirit of generosity and community service.
