Lilian Munao Diniz

Lilian Munao Diniz was the chief veterinarian at the São Paulo Zoo in 1975, where she developed a close bond with numerous animals, particularly the monkeys. Initially fearful of large primates, her first major case involved treating a sick chimpanzee named Tarzan, which marked a turning point in her career. Over time, she became known for her compassionate care and dedication, spending long hours tending to the health and well-being of over 2,480 animals at the zoo.
