Lin Ting-fang is a driver for Sanlih E-Television News who was involved in a serious accident when the news van he was operating crashed into a Changhua Bank branch in Taipei, injuring ten people. Following the crash, Lin reported that the van's engine suddenly revved up, and he may have been momentarily distracted. Fortunately, he sustained only light injuries, while several passengers and pedestrians required medical attention, with some suffering severe injuries.
