Lina Zapata

Lina Zapata was a dedicated mental health professional from Medellín, Colombia, who worked as a family nurse and psychiatrist, specializing in outpatient psychiatry for adults and adolescents. She was known for her compassionate approach to healthcare and was actively involved in promoting mental health and wellness in her community. Lina was married to Richard Samarel, a former manager at Bloomberg LP, and they shared a love for both each other and the city of Medellín. Tragically, she was found deceased along with her husband and daughter in their home in North Carolina, leaving behind two surviving children.
