Linda Limbe

Linda Limbe is a prominent political figure in Malawi, currently leading the Alliance for Democracy (AFORD). She has recently been in the news as part of the push from smaller political parties for amendments to the Political Parties Act, which currently limits state funding to parties securing at least 10 percent of the national vote. Limbe and her colleagues argue that this system disproportionately favors larger parties, stifling the voices of smaller parties and undermining the democratic process in Malawi.
