Line Markert

Line Markert was a prominent Danish lawyer and partner at the law firm Horten, where she had been a vital member for over 20 years. In addition to her legal career, she served as the chair of the Danish Sailing Union from 2017 to 2024 and was elected vice president of the international federation World Sailing in 2024. Tragically, she lost her life in a private plane crash in Switzerland, along with her partner Andreas Christensen and their shared son.
