Linkspartei

Linkspartei, or the Left Party, is a political party in Germany that emerged from the merger of the Party of Democratic Socialism (PDS) and the Electoral Alternative for Labor and Social Justice (WASG). It represents leftist ideologies, advocating for social justice, anti-capitalism, and the protection of democratic institutions. Recently, the party has been involved in a significant cross-party alliance in Sachsen-Anhalt aimed at reforming and strengthening democratic processes in response to rising extremism.
