Lionel Wordsworth

Lionel Wordsworth is the Chairman of the National Drainage and Irrigation Authority (NDIA) in Guyana, known for his role in overseeing significant improvements in the country's drainage infrastructure. Recently, he announced that the drainage capacity at Liliendaal has been enhanced to over 200,000 gallons per minute following the completion of a new pump station, which represents a substantial upgrade from the previous capacity of 90,000 gallons per minute. This development is expected to greatly benefit the drainage systems in several areas, including North Ruimveldt, South Ruimveldt, Liliendaal, Turkeyen, and Bel Air.
