Lisa Hortman Bean

Lisa Hortman Bean is the sister of Mark Hortman, who, along with his wife, former Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman, was tragically murdered by Vance Boelter. During the sentencing of Boelter, she expressed her deep anger and frustration over the justice system, highlighting her belief that it does not provide peace of mind for her family knowing that he will be cared for at taxpayers' expense for the rest of his life.
