Lisbeth Díaz

Lisbeth Díaz is a Venezuelan migrant who moved to Peru seven years ago. Recently, she expressed her joy and disbelief upon learning that Robert Prevost, the bishop who supported her and the Venezuelan community, was elected as Pope Leo XIV. Díaz credits Prevost for providing better opportunities for migrants fleeing Venezuela's political and economic crises, allowing many to start businesses and integrate into Peruvian society.
