Lisette Claudia Tame Soumedjong is an entrepreneur and the promoter of a new agro-industrial factory in Bangou, Cameroon, which specializes in the transformation of maize, potatoes, and fruits from the Western region. Under her leadership, the factory, owned by Meta Invest and branded as Denky, aims to produce 5,200 tons of food products annually, creating over 100 direct jobs and nearly 450 indirect jobs. Her initiative aligns with Cameroon’s structural transformation policy and seeks to enhance agricultural production, reduce rural exodus and unemployment, and promote local products within the African market.
