Litzy Cordón Guardado

Litzy Cordón Guardado was a 20-year-old student of Social Work at the Universidad Rafael Landívar in Zacapa, Guatemala. She became the victim of a tragic crime when she was kidnapped on October 5, 2020, and her body was discovered the following day, showing signs of extreme violence and sexual assault. Her case has drawn significant attention to issues of femicide and violence against women in Guatemala.
