Liu Liangmo was a notable patriotic figure who, during the Second Sino-Japanese War, organized a choir of young Chinese expatriates in the United States to perform popular anti-war songs like "大刀进行曲" and "义勇军进行曲," strengthening the bonds of the Chinese diaspora and raising awareness of China's plight.
