Liv Heeney

Liv Heeney is a young designer from Birmingham who, at the age of 28, discovered she carries a faulty gene that puts her at risk of early onset frontotemporal dementia (FTD), a condition that has tragically affected her family, including her mother, who passed away from the disease at the age of 54. Despite the daunting prognosis, Liv is proactive about her future, seeking ways to ensure that any children she has are not born with the gene and advocating for increased awareness and research into FTD.
