Liz Furey

Liz Furey is a dedicated swimming coach and volunteer from Whangārei, New Zealand, who has been instrumental in her local swimming community for over 50 years. Starting as a swimmer at a young age, she has contributed significantly to the Whangārei Swimming Club, leading various squads and fostering a strong, inclusive environment for athletes. Her tireless efforts and commitment to the sport have earned her numerous accolades, including the Brian Maunsell Memorial Service to Sport Award.
