Lluís el Piadós
Lluís el Piadós, also known as Louis the Pious, was a 9th-century Frankish emperor and the son of Charlemagne. He ruled over the Carolingian Empire and is often remembered for his piousness and attempts to maintain the unity of his father's empire during a period of political fragmentation. His reign was marked by efforts to promote Christianity and reform ecclesiastical practices. In Andorran tradition, he is credited with participating in the founding of Andorra and is regarded as a co-author of historical privileges granted to the inhabitants of the valleys, although his legacy has largely faded over the centuries.
