Lluís Prenafeta

Lluís Prenafeta was a prominent political figure in Catalonia, serving as the right-hand man to Jordi Pujol during his tenure as President of the Generalitat. Known as 'the shadow of power', Prenafeta played a crucial role in establishing TV3 and Catalunya Ràdio, and in reshaping the Mossos d’Esquadra into Catalonia's own police force. His career was later marred by corruption allegations, leading to a confession regarding tax evasion of nearly 15 million euros, which resulted in a significant fine but allowed him to avoid prison time. He remained a staunch defender of Pujol, asserting his innocence amid scandals.
