Long Weixiong

Dr. Long Weixiong is a prominent researcher at the Super Rice Research and Development Center in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, known for his significant contributions to rice genetics. In November 2024, he and his colleagues achieved a groundbreaking milestone by creating the world's first comprehensive pan-genome map of the rice genus, which reconstructed the evolutionary relationships at the genomic level.
