Lordy Suárez

Lordy Suárez is a former leader of the San Simón community in Bolivia. He was recently in the news due to his involvement in alerting local residents about an attempted illegal settlement by over 60 individuals in protected areas adjacent to several communities, including Campamento and Colorado. Suárez has been vocal in advocating for the rights of his community and is calling for immediate action from the National Institute of Agrarian Reform (INRA) to address the issue of land encroachment that has previously affected the region.
