His expansive murals, such as 'La Gesta del oriente boliviano,' which stretches 240 meters in Parque El Arenal, are not only artistic masterpieces but also serve as historical narratives reflecting Bolivia's rich cultural and ethnic diversity. In addition to his artistic achievements, Vaca has served as Bolivia's Minister Counselor to UNESCO since 2009, fostering cultural diplomacy on an international stage. Recently, he was honored as 'Hijo Ilustre' by the Municipal Council of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, recognizing his impactful legacy in the arts.
