Louis Chesimard
Louis Chesimard, also known as Louis Shakur, was a student activist and the former husband of Assata Shakur, with whom he was involved in the Black liberation movement during the 1960s. He played a role in advocating for Black rights and education before their marriage ended in divorce in 1970.
