
Louis Lewitan
Louis Lewitan is a clinical psychologist, author, and coach specializing in leadership and crisis management. Born in 1955 in Lyon to Jewish parents, he grew up in Munich and has focused his work on the intergenerational trauma resulting from the Holocaust. He previously served as the managing director of the Jerome Riker International Study of Organized Persecution of Children in New York, studying the long-term effects of the Holocaust on survivors and their descendants. Lewitan's recent book, co-authored with journalist Stephan Lebert, delves into the inherited traumas of war and the silence surrounding Nazi crimes within German families.
