Lourenço Ribeiro

Lourenço Ribeiro is a 19-year-old student at Nova SBE who has taken the initiative to engage young people in politics through a unique series of video interviews with over 100 candidates for the upcoming local elections in Portugal. With a goal to simplify political discourse and make it more appealing to his generation, he created short, impactful videos where candidates respond to a single question about why they should be voted for. Despite having no prior journalistic experience, Lourenço aims to inspire interest in political participation among young voters by showcasing candidates from various parties, especially lesser-known ones.
