
Lovisa Sirén
Lovisa Sirén is a Swedish director, screenwriter, and editor born in 1986. She made her directorial debut in 2012 with the short film 'Himalaya' and gained recognition for her subsequent works, including 'Pussy have the power,' which won the Startsladden award at the Gothenburg Film Festival. Her long film debut, 'Maya Nilo,' features themes of female identity and empowerment and premiered in November 2022. Sirén's latest short film, 'Without Kelly,' which explores the emotional turmoil of a young mother experiencing separation anxiety, is currently competing at the Venice Film Festival, marking her first visit to Italy.
