Lu Guozhan

Lu Guozhan (1949-2023) was a renowned lyricist in Hong Kong, celebrated for his ability to blend classical literary themes with popular music. Over his prolific career, he wrote over 3,000 songs and collaborated with notable composers, leaving a significant impact on the Cantonese music scene. He gained recognition for his poignant lyrics, including those for hit songs such as 'Tian Can Bian' and 'Xiao Li Fei Dao.' In his later years, he founded the Hong Kong Music Therapy Association and remained active in the industry despite health challenges, earning accolades for his contributions.
