Lúcia Barbosa

Lúcia Barbosa is a renowned enologist from Monção and Melgaço, Portugal, known for her expertise in the Alvarinho grape variety. She has worked with prominent wineries such as Soalheiro and Anselmo Mendes, and spent time at the Spanish winery Martín Códax in the Rías Baixas region, which is famous for Alvarinho production. Currently, she is with Sogrape, where she oversees fine wines and supports the harvest in the Vinho Verde region, particularly at Quinta de Azevedo.
