Lucía dos Santos was one of the three shepherd children who reported the apparitions of the Virgin Mary in Fátima, Portugal, starting in 1917. As the only survivor of the group, she devoted her life to the Catholic faith and became a nun, known as Sister Lucía. Her writings, which included the famous secrets of Fátima, have had a lasting impact on the Catholic Church and the devotion to Our Lady of Fátima.
