Lucian Grigorescu

Lucian Grigorescu was a prominent Romanian post-impressionist painter born on February 1, 1894, in Medgidia, Romania. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest and became known for his vibrant use of color and light, particularly during his time in southern France. Grigorescu participated in various exhibitions and was a member of the Romanian Academy. His work is characterized by a blend of impressionist techniques and a unique perspective on Romanian landscapes. He passed away on October 28, 1965, in Bucharest.
