Lucian Spiru Iancu, affectionately known as 'Lucică' or 'Lulă', was a prominent Romanian actor and director born on February 3, 1940, in Constanța. He had a prolific career in theater and film, portraying over 100 characters in various productions, including popular films such as 'B.D. la munte și la mare' and 'Nea Marin miliardar.' A dedicated educator, he founded the Faculty of Arts in Constanța and taught at universities, significantly contributing to the training of new generations of artists. Iancu's passion for the performing arts and education left a lasting impact on the Romanian cultural scene until his passing on November 20, 2024.
