Lucija Pinterič

Lucija Pinterič is the head of psychosocial counseling at the Agricultural and Forestry Chamber of Slovenia, focusing on providing support to farmers experiencing mental health issues. She has been instrumental in establishing a free psychosocial support program that has conducted over 800 consultations since its inception in September 2022. Pinterič highlights the increasing mental health challenges faced by farmers, often exacerbated by the pressures of agricultural policies and adverse weather conditions.
