Lucile Courtial

Lucile Courtial is the Executive Secretary of Beyond Plastic Med (BeMed), an organization founded to combat plastic pollution in the Mediterranean. With a decade of experience, she leads initiatives that unite private and public stakeholders to address the environmental impacts of plastic waste, particularly within the tourism sector. Under her guidance, BeMed has developed successful pilot projects aimed at reducing single-use plastics in hotels, demonstrating that environmental sustainability can also be economically viable. Courtial is actively involved in promoting best practices and facilitating collaboration among various organizations and industries to accelerate solutions for plastic pollution.
