Lucimere Mazurec

Lucimere Mazurec is a Brazilian artisan and founder of the first Cat Museum in the Americas, located in Petrópolis, Brazil. After the tragic loss of her only son, Johann, in an accident, Lucimere found solace and inspiration in her Siamese cat, Kiba, who was a gift from Johann. This led her to create a museum dedicated to celebrating the love and companionship of cats, using art as a means to commemorate her son's memory and help others cope with loss. The museum features thematic rooms and a collection of artworks related to felines, aiming to provide hope and healing to bereaved parents.
