Lucky Inegbenehi

Lucky Inegbenehi is the Managing Director of the Edo State Waste Management Board, known for his proactive approach to improving waste management in Edo State, Nigeria. Under his leadership, the board has prosecuted over 160 offenders for improper waste disposal and has implemented significant measures to enhance sanitation across the state. Since taking office, Inegbenehi has focused on clearing litter from major roads and markets, while also investing in modern waste disposal equipment. He has emphasized the need for accountability among waste managers, leading to the termination of several contracts due to inefficiencies. Additionally, he is working on establishing a waste recycling plant in partnership with experts from India, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable waste management practices.
