Ľudovít Herz was a Jewish student from Plavnica, Slovakia, whose life was tragically cut short during the Holocaust. He was expelled from school along with other Jewish students due to anti-Semitic policies. While he initially tried to escape the dangers of the war by joining partisans, he ultimately vanished and was among the many victims of Nazi persecution, leaving his family in mourning.
