Ľudovít Veľký

Ľudovít Veľký, also known as Louis the Great, was a significant monarch of the Kingdom of Hungary and Croatia during the 14th century. He is best remembered for his role in expanding the power and influence of his kingdom, as well as for granting the first heraldic charter to the city of Košice on May 7, 1369. This historic act is commemorated annually during the celebrations of the Day of the City of Košice.
