Ludwig Nobel

Ludwig Nobel was a Swedish chemist and entrepreneur, best known as the younger brother of Alfred Nobel, the founder of the Nobel Prizes. His death in 1888 led to a famous case of mistaken identity in which newspapers mistakenly published obituaries for Alfred, labeling him as the 'merchant of death' due to his inventions in dynamite and warfare.
