
Luis Alberto Rojas
Luis Alberto Rojas, at 57 years old, is set to regain his freedom on November 11 after serving a 25-year sentence for his role in the assassination of Paraguayan Vice President Luis María Argaña in 1999. Rojas was convicted as a material author of the crime and has been incarcerated since 2000, with his sentence handed down in 2003. He is currently in the Penitenciaria Regional de Emboscada, where he is preparing for reintegration into society.
