Luis Batres

Luis Batres was a Guatemalan engineer and business partner of Manuel Víctor Dengo, who contributed to the groundbreaking project of electric lighting in San José. He was present on August 9, 1884, when the city celebrated its first electric lamps, participating in a moment that marked the dawn of a new era in Central America's infrastructure.
