Luis XV

Luis XV (1710-1774), also known as 'Louis the Beloved,' was King of France from 1715 until his death in 1774. His reign was marked by a series of military conflicts and financial crises that ultimately diminished the power of the monarchy and laid the groundwork for the French Revolution. Despite his initial popularity, his later years were marked by mismanagement and loss of public support.
