Luiz Cláudio Fernandes

Luiz Cláudio Fernandes is a university professor and resident of the Batista Campos neighborhood in Belém, Brazil. He was in the news after he reported feeling tremors from the recent earthquakes in Venezuela, which prompted evacuations in several buildings across Brazil, including where he lives. Despite being in the gym during the tremors, he noted that residents on the higher floors experienced strong shaking and quickly evacuated.
