Lukáš Hrušovský

Lukáš Hrušovský was a young firefighter from Nové Mesto nad Váhom who died in the line of duty on May 27, 2024, during an emergency response to a fire on the D1 highway. He was involved in a tragic accident that resulted in his death and that of his colleague when a truck collided with their parked fire vehicles. His legacy of courage and service was recognized with a memorial plaque unveiled by the Minister of Interior, Matúš Šutaj Eštok.
