Lumbu

Lumbu is the Chairperson of the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights (ACHPR), who recently urged political leaders and stakeholders to take decisive action on human rights issues during a session in Bijilo, Gambia. He highlighted the urgent need to criminalize practices such as Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and condemned the rising instances of unconstitutional government changes and media suppression across Africa.
