Lumumba Okugbawa

Lumumba Okugbawa is the General Secretary of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN). He has been vocal in advocating for the rights of workers in the petroleum industry, emphasizing the importance of unionization and collective bargaining. Recently, he was in the news for expressing solidarity with the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) in their efforts to secure the rights of tanker drivers at the Dangote Refinery, highlighting the ongoing resistance to unionization by the refinery's management.
