Luna Fernández Grande

Luna Fernández Grande is a Spanish woman who was repatriated in January 2023 from Syria, where she spent nearly four years in refugee camps after her husband, a key figure in a jihadist cell, was killed. She, along with Yolanda Martínez, faced terrorism-related charges upon return, resulting in a three-year prison sentence. Recently, she was granted a semi-liberty status, allowing her to serve the remainder of her sentence in a social reintegration center in Madrid as she seeks to regain custody of her five children.
