Luyara

Luyara is the niece of Marielle Franco, a Brazilian politician and human rights activist who was assassinated in 2018. During the recent sentencing of those responsible for her aunt's murder, Luyara was present in the courtroom, visibly emotional as she supported her family and held a rosary, embodying the pain and hope for justice shared by many who continue to honor Marielle's legacy.
