Lway Yay Oo

Lway Yay Oo is a spokesperson for the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), a pro-democracy guerrilla group in Myanmar. He was recently in the news for rejecting claims made by the ruling military junta that his group was responsible for the destruction of the historic Gokteik bridge, asserting instead that the junta's bombing campaign caused the bridge's damage during clashes in the region.
