Lya Shaffer

Lya Shaffer is a Seattle-based literary translator with roots in Taipei, committed to amplifying marginalized voices, especially from Taiwan. She is taking on the translation of Chang Chuan-fen's book 'Liumang Wang Xin-fu' as part of the American Literary Translators Association's 2025 Emerging Translator Mentorship Program.
