Lyndall Ryan

Lyndall Ryan was a prominent Australian historian and emerita professor at the University of Newcastle, known for her extensive research on Indigenous history and colonial violence in Australia. She spearheaded the Colonial Frontier Massacres Digital Map Project, which aimed to document and acknowledge the violent history of Australia's colonial past, particularly the massacres of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
