Lynn Rother

Lynn Rother, born in 1981 in Annaberg-Buchholz, is a prominent provenance researcher and currently serves as the Lichtenberg-professor of provenance studies at Leuphana University, as well as the founding director of its Provenance Lab. She has gained recognition for her work uncovering the complex histories behind art ownership, particularly during times of war and crisis, and recently made headlines for her involvement in a panel discussion on provenance research at the Georg Kolbe Museum.
